11:00pm - whenever we fall over

A Creole House Courtyard OR Chateau Willcore
(map & directions)

Following the reception, we are offering two ways to wile away the night.

A Creole House Courtyard -
The first is a more low-key option, for those who are not looking to stay up late, but would like to socialize, sit and enjoy each other's company. The hotel that most of our guests are staying in, A Creole House in the French Quarter, has a lovely courtyard on the annex side. There will be tasty adult beverages and snacks set up in the courtyard and we encourage you to enjoy the lovely New Orleans evening before retiring for the evening.

Chateau Willcore in Garden District

As this will be an unprecedented gathering of our loved ones from across the country, we will not be riding off into the sunset after the reception. Rather, we have arranged, through the kindness of our friend Will Trufant, to host an After-Party at his family home in the Garden District.

You can travel to the house via streetcar. Please refer to the directions or plan to travel with groups of us who know the way.

We will provide a cornicopia of wine, beer and liquor and muchies, though guests are welcome to bring favorites as well. Weather allowing, the party will be primarily outside in the backyard, where the swimming pool will be heated.

Guests wishing to attend are encouraged to bring or change into something more comfortable, grab their swimsuits and wile away the evening with good drinks, good conversation and old & new friends.

As we expect to indulge late into the evening, we will have the house prepared for many people to sleep there, with air mattresses and other primitive "crash spaces". Know that you are welcome to stay, rather than trek home in an unfamiliar city in the wee hours of the morning.
