original, this one craked us up (again) when we read it an immediately knew what it was.. we had always thought green should have an 'earthbind' and this was the answer.
original, not sure if this should have been blue, but we felt it was green, maybe the whole tree sap, nature always getting you goopy influenced us :)
original, orignally "slug" calvin creature 1/1 but the ability was lacking.. the enchantment made more sense, so it was altered.

original, last minute trade from black as black gathered more "glop" and bugs are close to nature, though this 'feels' more black. ah well.
original, a double picture card. was orginally a replicant of giant growth, but as I decided agains replicants and saw 'monstrous growth' I decided to alter Growth a little to make it interesing.
original, he bounced around alot in color and abilites, landing here eventually. The direct damage ability is a little out of color but the limiting factors seem to fall in line with other items when they go 'out of color'
original, his ability was added right at the end, ability was inspired whn re-reading the strip with an eye for abilities.
original, felt like its casting cost was too much.. mammoth (original card) is same cost for a 3/3 trampler so it got Haste to as i figured hobbes can be a pretty quick tiger.

original, was originally black but last miute movement and greens love of hobbes brought it over to give green its one devouring creature.

new, this picture told me it belonged somewhere, the snow heads gave me its ability and it is the minor counter to the few snowmen running around. and its really a Hobbes so tends towards green.

original, ahh rare-1 how i love thee, another idea that lept out and grabbed up and the environment was soo green, not sure the ability really is, but that was secondary.. its summer, summer is green and for lying about and not doing a damn thing :)
