***Note this was created in Tale 1 and has some Tale 1 Anacronyms**

The story picks up from a personal perspective of what happened in the week before the final 7 tests where released and what happened afterwords, often I did a psuedo first person approach. All "days" are in game days (3 days =~ 27hrs RL) So here is the story I wrote up so far.

There came a day, when all over Egypt people encountered someone on the horizon, the encounters all had a few things in common, the person encountered often went the other direction or if not was reluctant to speak. The person was often seen going into the Universities for quite some time. At the end of the week of sightings one thing was for sure, no one knew him, he was a Stranger.

It was shortly after this we received the announcement. The day had been set, the time was now. Through the mystic ways of communication we all heard the message, the Pharaoh could not intervene, The Stranger was to lay down the final challenge. Many spoke of seeing a vision in the heavens and the vision resembled the one many say the weeks before. The words he spoke chilled me, but also brought me a vigorous swelling of hope and pride. We would prove this no one wrong!!

The message has been burned in my mind as you all must recall:
"Citizens of Egypt, I seem your progress has been laughable as I suspected it would be. I have given you even longer to complete the tasks I had set before you! <laughter> This is the day the end of your fate will begin. You have your last tests laid before you; try them if you think it’s even possible for you to overcome yourselves. I give you 88 days to complete my tests. at the end of that time you will have 8 days to figure who will be the Oracle and his companions for all of Egypt and present themselves at my University were you will be issued the final challenge, to build the monument our perish in failure. I give you these 88 days as a final reprieve; I suggest that you take that time to have your wine while you can, for we both know you cannot beat yourselves!!!!<laughter>"

So the tests were issued, we worked together, we worked at odds with each other, bickered and cooperated. But in the end we did have an Oracle and the Sages, Masters, Scribes, Journeyman, Prentices and Students needed. Each Oracle got the 126 people needed to support him in writing and presented the proof at the required University. At this point each Oracle has to speak of what they learned as I could only watch as a bystander and hope those I chose to represent us could carry us though.

Here follows a small description of the Monuments for each Discipline, the idea is to involve all 127 people and make it hard but theoretically possible, but certianly not a sure thing

Architecture
So as Oracle of Architecture it has fallen on my to bring the challenge to the 126 of you, and through you hopefully to the rest of Egypt for the challenge is great, the monument is frightening in size and complexity. The structure is called the Colossus, we will need more concrete, wood, boards, gears than you can imagine. Marbles, tiles of all sorts, gold and silver will be needed for the decoration. We must build it at one of his universities of his choosing, the location which I have and it is a most inhospitable location. I fear for us, as we have only 16 days from today to complete this task, even with this fear I do have reason to rejoice, I feel the stranger has no real idea the productive force of Egypt!!

Worship
My friends, I wish I had better news to bring you, but as Oracle of Worship I must bear this difficult news. Ours is a test that will try our souls, the stranger has called for sacrifice, like his last test, he has called for cooperation in the effort, like festivals tested up, a few he has called to take long journeys reminding me painfully of those long and arduous pilgrimages. Worst of all we have to start now as we have only 16 days to appease him and the gods. We must first make the starting offering, this may become the most difficult of all our tasks, as all 127 of us must sacrifice at a different altar all within 3hrs of my first sacrifice. We can designate some other practitioner of the right rank to sacrifice for us at that time, but no one may make 2 sacrifices, and you must be the one to ask them to do this. Once we have done the starting sacrifice, 1 Sage & 1 Master and 6 members who are Scribe or lower, and I must all start our journey. I will be given a vision of where we will journey to. Once there we must keep vigil for 8hrs calling for sacrifices upon which I’m sure we will be calling for the community to help us. At the end of the Vigil I will receive a new vision. To that spot will come with me the same sage and master, but 6 new people. There I will repeat the process. After which I will keep that sage on for 2 more of these, but I will trade out the Master, and do so for every 2 vigils. At the end each Sage will have been in 4 and each Master in 2 and 48 others will have been in one. We must by then have built a small shrine at the stranger’s university. This shrine must be dedicated by all 127 people. At which point one last sacrifice will be made at that shrine by everyone showing our full cooperation and spirit. We have only 16 days to complete these tasks my friends, so we must begin at once!!

Body
<laughter> Hah! Well my friends the stranger thinks he has given us a task, how little he knows! It is my privilege to hand this final "task" to the rest of you as the Oracle of Body. The stranger has given me pictures. Each rank of us will be given 32 sites that our group has to find. At each site is a rock where we will inscribe our name. That means that the 2 Sages must have at least one of their names on their 32, one of each Master must have their name on their set of 32, and so on and so forth. Let us share our required sites all 224 of them with that secret guild of ours and all the sites will be found soon enough. Which is good because we have only 16 days to accomplish this. At the end I must build an altar at one of the stranger’s university and anoint it with... cactus sap.

Art and Music
"So the challenge has been cast", began the Oracle of Art and Music. "The Masters, Scribes, Sages and I are to go to Pandora, and be sequestered there, The Stranger will provide us with any material we wish for, we have 16 days to create 2 objects of the 7 arts: opticons, gliders, mosaics, ect ect (*note* fireworks will be recorded for display on a simple click). At the end of those days we will be removed and unable to contact anyone for the next 3 days, The Stranger will place 2 objects of his creation on the island as well. The Journeymen, Students and Prentices will have 4 tokens for each art style, of worth from 4 points to 1 point. You must hand out points for all 7 sets of 4. You may send a Initiate of art to judge for you if you are unable to make it. After the judging closes we will see the results. To succeed the number of points must be over half for our works, and we must have 3 of our works place in the top position. At that time, the top place item we created will be transported to a University of Progress for prosperity. So without further adieu let us depart to make works of art worthy of our status!!"

Leadership
"Greetings fellow country men and women. As Oracle of Leadership I bring you our task. We have 16 days to create a government by which our progeny will be ruled. At the same time The Stranger will be creating a government as well. All 127 of us will vote with weight on our votes for the government we create, we can vote on the whole thing or on partial elements, each person can submit a petition and all can vote on it. Students votes count as 1, Prentices as 2, Journeymen as 4, Scribes as 8, Masters as 16, The 2 Sages as 32 and my vote counts for 64 points. All petitions which gather 2/3rd majority become part of our future government. By 2/3rd majority we can also remove passed petitions, back and forth until we have all found what we believe will be the perfect government. At the end of our 16 days, the 2 forms of government will be presented to the rest of the people. We will not be allowed to speak to anyone else for the following 3 days while the rest of Egypt chooses between the 2. If we gain the majority, we are then to build a Courthouse at a specific University of Progress to inscribe our Laws for the future, and I am to bless the building."

Conflict
Well, now that we have reached our levels, honed our skills, we must prove our worth. The Stranger has assembled a team of players and has challenged us to battle. Every Student may play 1 set, win or loose, if you draw you may play the set over 1 time only. Every Prentice 2 sets, every Journeyman 3 sets, every Scribe 4, every Master 5, every Sage 6 and I must play all 7. Each set is a best of 2, no person may play 2 sets of the same game. A draw and we get 1 point, a win and we get 3. We have 16 days to gain 147 points, if a Master, Sage or Oracle looses more sets than they win, they will die. We will gain a prize at 147 points, and an additional one for every 14 points beyond that. We are required to build a portal to Wepwawet at a University of Progress and adorn the portal with the prizes. Let us face this challenge and never look back!!!

Thought
authors note Thought I ended up re-hashing Art, maybe i will come up with something better
My friends, as Oracle of Thought is it my privilege to present to you our monumental challenge. The Masters, Sages, Scribes and I will be sequestered on an island off the mainland where we will be required to build 2 thought puzzles, all needed materials will be provided. We will have 16 days to test them and tweak them. At the end of that time, we will be required to leave the island. The Stranger will then place 2 puzzles of his creation on the island and the Journeymen, Students and Prentices will be sent to the island and given 3 days to play and judge all the pieces. Each judge will have 4 tokens for each game, each token will have a value from 1 to 4 which they can give a game they solve. Any Judge may leave and give his or her tokens to an initiate (or greater) who is not part of the team, no initiate may receive tokens from more than one person. At the end of the 3 days the points will be tallied up. To succeed the number of points must be over 224 points for our puzzles, and we must have 3 of our puzzles place in the top position. At that time, the top placed item we created, for each puzzle, will be transported to a University of Progress for prosperity. Time is ticking so let us get to creating not only challenging but interesting puzzles!!

These are set up in 2 sets, each having 2 endings.

mutual intro The days passed, my team struggled with the monument but progress was good, and hope was there. Word had it all 7 of the known Universities of Progress where to receive a monument. Part of me was hurt by the fact that our hard work would glorify the Strangers Universities, but pride in what we where doing overpowered that. At last the final day came. No one could build any longer, we awaited word on if all 7 had been completed.

*** Built Monuments ****
The Stranger appeared once again. "I see I have underestimated your ability to work together to build a perfect society. Pharaoh present yourself, the challenge has been met!” As I watched our beloved Pharaoh-God approach the Stranger I knew something had gone wrong, how I could not comprehend, the ground seemed to swell in sorrow for the future, but I still watched eyes fixed, trying to hear what was happening, trying to comprehend. "The people have proven themselves, you by their proof are useless, and unneeded!" With that he struck the Pharaoh who started to disintegrate before our eyes, the look of shock, even betrayal played across his face. We stood numbed by what happened, by what _we_ did. The Stranger then turned towards us, "So you think I was harsh? That the Pharaoh should live? Well I leave you all with a final choice, present to me a test that you would make for your progeny for them to prove their mettle and I will revive your Pharaoh, your leader. But the price will be heavier than that, as a choice to bring back the Pharaoh you must sacrifice all that you have created. Your monuments I will let stand to show that you where here, next to my Universities so that all may understand it was my hand guiding them. The choice is yours, test your future, and loose your past to save your Pharaoh or forever wander in your lands with no Pharaoh to guide you. The Oracles will present plans for a future test in 8 days." With that The Stranger disappeared. The turmoil was beyond belief, people fought more than before.

In the end, we complied, we presented tests, we watched the waters slowly rise and the buildings on the tops of mountains where we huddled get struck and destroyed by lightening. We watched for 7 days as the world shrunk to the size of small islands of people, then the waters receded. All was gone, then reports started coming in. There indeed still existed our monuments! There was also seen the Pharaoh walking to a fro, setting up new schools and new universities. Egypt would rise again, undaunted and face the challenges of any stranger that happened our way!! Telling 2 begins!

*** Built monuments ending 2 ****
In the end, we refused to loose all that we had created, all that we had worked for. The Stranger was right, we had become independent, we needed no further testing, and as much as it hurt us we could go on without Pharaoh, he had made the sacrifice for us to learn that we were free to choose our own destiny. <At this point the world fades back getting smaller and smaller until it is picked up by a hand and put into a bottle. The large image of a person is seen holding the bottle, looking into the bottle, it states 'How Fascinating, I will keep this one' and places the bottle in a chest containing other bottles, then picks up a handful of sand from the ether blows it into the screen (the sand slowly forms land) and states 'Lets see how this one turns out.' Telling 2 begins!

**** Failed to build monuments *****
The Stranger appeared before us, for the final time. "As I suspected, you have not all succeeded, and for that I see no reason to let anything remain!!!" The 'Strange' Rocks that had been seen around all the sudden sank into the earth, up sprang wells of water, the sky broiled lighting struck indiscriminately hitting and destroying statues, houses, bricks racks, trees and people. The water rose rapidly drowning everything. The Pharaoh was there moving people as quick as he could by mystical means to mountain tops, saving as many as he could, but oh so many where lost, everything was lost! Finally Pharaoh confronted the Stranger demanding that he stop, stating that all the work should not go for naught!! The Stranger replied "I will save the rest of your people and the few monuments that were created but their is a price! All knowledge, all skills, all abilities that everyone has will be lost. All other buildings will be removed! And your progeny will undertake my tests again, only this time *you* will also give them a test. You have 8 days to present to me 1 test for each discipline before I destroy your world!"

**** Failed building monuments ending 1 ******
In the end we gave him the tests, as I write this I know that my memory is fading, the water is receding but I do not recognize the country, I forget how I came about this paper and ink, or how to make either. There are people around me coming down from mountains and hills into the land and our Pharaoh, I recognize him, is telling us of a Stranger who has challenged him. He looks harangued but confident in us. We will not let him down, this Stranger whoever he is will know that Egypt cannot be that easily overcome! Telling 2 begins
**** Failed building monuments ending 2 ******
In the end we refused, we could not come up with ideas and the thought of loosing all to start again was not an option. I watched as more and more people got struck down. Finally I felt the white heat and saw myself disintegrate. I stayed briefly as if I was in Wepwawet in the early days, floating in Spirit Form. I saw all fall, finally I spotted The Pharaoh on the highest mountain kneeling before the Stranger. "You have failed. I have won." "I don’t know how it came to this, how my people could have failed. I submit" "Lightening shook the earth, the mountain they stood on was shattered by the force, I felt my conscious grow dim and all faded into a black nothingness, I was no more. New Telling now starts.
