The Stacey Lee Agency is a convention personnel agency with offices around the country. From her own experiences as a model, Stacey realized there was an untapped market for attractive, well-trained convention personnel to work the thousands of trade shows and conventions held in the U.S every year. For the last fifteen years, Stacey has been building that resource. Currently, the Stacey Lee Agency consists of the parent agency and its four specialty divisions: Stacey Lee Convention Personnel, Stacey Lee Interpreters, Stacey Lee Destination Management, and Stacey Lee Temps.

Stacey knew that bringing her company online was going to be integral to future success. However, she was not particularly internet savvy and her previous attempts at hiring someone to design a website left her thousands of dollars in the hole and *still* no website! It was at this point that Stacey came to WebsOnly for a solution, and they, in turn, asked me to be the designer on this project.
 

[ p r o b l e m ]

Stacey wanted her online presence to reflect the elegent style her company currently conveyed, while invoking the idea that it was cutting-edge, fresh and pushing the envelope in her industry. The site would need to tie the parent company and its four divisions together seamlessly, and yet still allow each division to have its own "space" for targeted internet marketing campaigns. There would also be a database of models to search and the ability to reserve models and book them online. 

[ a p p r o a c h ]

It became apparent very quickly that this client needed more support and interaction than the average client to make her "vision" come alive. My role was extremely pro-active, listening to the ideas she had, reviewing the pieces she brought me, and using my expertise to give her a whole picture - often with very little information. Once Stacey saw tangible results, she was able to more clearly guide the project to its ultimate success.
 

[ s o l u t i o n ]

The first step was to design a suite of logos for the agency and its divisions. Once we established this key aspect of the corporate image, I moved on to design a website that married the standard html site with Flash technology. This hybrid combination allowed the site to be easily updated, accessable to everyone, and still enjoy the benefits of motion and specialized functionality. A Flash intro was added to the site as an "overview of services" while engaging the visitor with a smattering of the attractive personnel that the Stacey Lee Agency offers.
 

[ r e s u l t ]

The result was an overwhelming success. Stacey was thrilled to have a new marketing tool to use in reaching out to thousands of potential clients. Unlike her competitors, who had 3-page brochure sites, she now had a powerful asset that allowed clients to see her personnel in the comfort of their offices, while reflecting a strong, professional corporate image.
